Reflecting on the time I had just 5 WEEKS to plan, style, and deliver a truly meaningful wedding at the height of summer which, as you know, is peak wedding season!

The timeline was intense, but with the unwavering support of my AVE assistants and an incredible network of trusted suppliers, every detail came together seamlessly.

From the stunning floral arch framing the church entrance to the thoughtfully curated menu, heritage-inspired favours, and elegant reception design, the goal was to create a refined atmosphere that felt effortlessly grand yet deeply personal.

Bringing it all to life, even with the exhilarating challenges, made this wedding such a rewarding experience.

THE COTERIE RETREAT: DAY 3

The third and final day of the @munaluchibride @coterieretreat brought a mixture of reflections, learning and more opportunities to connect - both personally and professionally.

While the pace was a bit more relaxed compared to the previous days (we even fit in some pool time!), it offered us the chance to process everything we’d absorbed and to savour meaningful conversations with incredible creatives.

The evening wrapped up with a gala, which was an elegant and enjoyable way to celebrate the journey we all shared during the retreat. Black tie / formal wear is my favourite dress code so you know I showed up and showed out! Congratulations to everyone who won an award (all are not pictured sadly).

I am forever grateful for this chance to grow, network, and be part of a community that continually inspires me to elevate my craft. Now to rest and then to action everything I learned.

THE COTERIE RETREAT: DAY 2

The second day of the @coterieretreat began with welcome remarks from Commissioner Joseph Boschulte of the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism.

We learnt about the next generation of “I Do” (aka Gen-Z), hotel partnerships and tech hacks. Our beachside lunch was delicious and picturesque and then we headed back to learn about collaborating with tourism boards and client contracts.

The day ended with an unforgettable white party - complete with special guest performance from @pressurebusspipe

Attending retreats like this is invaluable for expanding my knowledge, building a strong network, and refining my business in order to deliver even better services for my clients.
